Cottage Colonies
These are uniquely Bermudian and feature a main clubhouse with dining room, loungue and bar. The cottage units are spread throughout landscaped grounds and offer privacy and luxury. Most have kitchenettes for beverages or light snacks, but most may not be used for full-time cooking. All have their own beach and/or pool.

With wheel-chair access to most attractions. Despite "club" in its title, it is not a private club - anyone can stay there.
In 1996 and early 1997, more than $5 million went into substantial renovations at this property, including the addition of a
meeting center, gym and spa. The property is owned by the prominent local Dill family which includes actress Diana Darrid and
her sons the internationally-famous film star Michael Douglas and his brother Joel. Their father is the actor Kirk Douglas.
Michael Douglas made a point of himself presiding over the official ceremonies held in late April 1997 to celebrate the
completion of the property's renovations and additions. Based in New York, he is often at Ariel Sands with his friends from
England, Canada and the USA.

Cambridge Beaches was a winner of the Bermuda Department of Tourism's 1996 "Longtail" Award, given to premises with
superior standards in fire and health regulations and accommodation.
On its own landscaped and scenic 25-acre peninsula on King's Point, complete with five fine small private beaches, this
property has 82 individually-decorated cottage rooms and suites for up to 160 guests, all refurbished within the past five years,
with private terraces and most with superb water views. Many bathrooms have marble and whirlpool baths. Television sets and
irons are available upon request. Rooms in the category of "Deluxe" and above include refrigerators.
Other facilities include a central clubhouse; European health spa; restaurant; dining/dancing area; numerous small coves; a

On the South Shore, with its own two fine, pristine, pink beaches and restaurant. It is a secluded colony of pink cottages, each with ocean views. It has lovely landscaped grounds and gardens. It opened in 1982 as Bermuda's first timeshare resort, but anyone can stay there, despite the use of the word "club." It has 69 suites; nice grounds, 3 pools; 3 tennis courts and in-house grocery store. Recommended.
Other facilities include its popular, public Margaret Rose restaurant; beach club at Achilles Bay; and guest privileges at St. George's Golf Club.
